Communication skills are also stressed here at Narconon Arrowhead a great deal; teaching a person confront, control and communicate in an effective manner. To do this, a person must learn to first be comfortable in their space, and not let anything bother or upset them, so that they can communicate effectively. We have various Training Routines that are drilled over and over until the desired effects are produced.At Narconon Arrowhead Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Program, the value of honesty is stressed. Students learn how honesty relates to FREEDOM! If a person is honest with his fellow man, than they are free to be around anyone they choose, and go any place they want. But if are not truthful, then this cuts down on their freedom, since they start avoiding various people that they have not been honest with, and stay away from places where these people may be. So by not being totally honest, your freedom is reduced. Who would want that? Many people start using drugs such as Vicodin to get some sort of pain relief, but become dependant upon it, even after the pain is gone. Our treatment program differs from other programs, since we have dedicated staff members that are trained to deliver various assist processes that help to relieve and heal the body, thus eliminating the need for pain medication such as Vicodin. The assist processes are somewhat similar to a massage. The purpose of this is to get you into communication with your body, and allow it to heal itself.
